ECCO Tour Virtual Spring Series – Presented by Made in HimmerLand

The 2021 ECCO Tour Virtual Spring is a three-event series that will be played over three weeks. Each event is played over 18 holes as strokeplay (scratch), and is also part of a points ranking championship. The tournaments will be played from Monday to Sunday.

Rules of competition

Who can participate:

• The Series is open to male professionals and male amateurs with hcp. 3,4 or better.
• Professionals must be members of the national PGA or Golf Union in either: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway or Sweden
  • (Invitations available for a maximum of 10 players not fulfilling this. This number can be increased should less than 60 players enter a tournament)
• Amateurs must be members of the national Golf Union in either:  Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway or Sweden
  • (Invitations available for a maximum of 10 players not fulfilling this)

Where can you play:

• Players can complete the course any time before the event deadline.
• The tournament can be played in any TrackMan golf simulator around the world.

Entry fee:

• (Players are required to book and pay their own teetimes in the TrackMan SIM center they want to use)
• 100 Euros for Professionals
• 35 Euros for Amateurs

Entry deadline/registration/withdrawal etc.:

• Entry & Registration deadline is three days before the first competition day at 18:00
• Registration is done by paying the entry fee online – once this is done you are ready to compete
• Withdrawal/refund is not possible after the entry fee is paid

Breakdown & Order of Merit

• Guaranteed breakdown of 100.000 DKK in each event
• The breakdown will be built of 50.000 DKK from the ECCO Tour + all income from Entry fees
  • Examples:
  • Breakdown for a field with 66 professionals and 4 amateurs is: 100.700 DKK (See breakdown below)
  • Breakdown for a field with 96 professionals and 4 amateurs is: 123.200 DKK
  • ECCO Tour will guarantee the breakdown of 100.000 DKK even if the entries are lower than 66 professionals
  • A 5 % administration fee will be deducted from all winnings

Order of Merit – Invites for European Tour & Challenge Tour at stake

• Order of Merit – Invites for European Tour & Challenge Tour at stake
  • The Top professional who has participated in ALL THREE EVENTS, will receive an invitation for Made in HimmerLand by FREJA played May 27-30 in HimmerLand
  • Top 3 professionals on the Order of Merit after the three tournaments will receive an invitations for Made in Esbjerg Challenge by FREJA & Total
  • The Top amateur will receive an invitation to the Danish Challenge Tour; Made in Esbjerg by FREJA & Total

Breakdown Professionals:

• (Best amateur will get a pair of ECCO golf shoes)
